Viagra: the most popular ED treatment

Erectile Dysfunction has been a problem for some men. Fortunately for many men, Viagra has been invented. The benefits of Viagra were discovered by scientists accidentally. With the medication reaching multibillion dollar in yearly sales, it is also the most generic drug.

The main purpose of the drug is to treat impotence, the inability to be aroused or maintain an erection. It is also used to treat high blood pressure relating to the heart and the arteries of the lungs called Pulmonary Hypertension. It is very dangerous to take Viagra if you are already on prescribed anti-hypertensive medications. The obvious effect would be that your blood pressure would drop tremendously causing a dangerous hypotension.
United Kingdom is taking the lead in being able to sell a type of small dose Viagra without a prescription. But still, many men have purchased Viagra without a script which is illegal. There are many ways to obtain Viagra. It can be purchasing it online, a local pharmacy, and even the Black Market.
My personal experience with Viagra started at one of my Doctor’s visits. Towards the end of my healthy yearly physical exams, I mentioned that I had been feeling down and depressed but my girlfriend had been feeling “needy.” I insinuated that my younger girlfriend had a higher libido and I needed some performance enhancers. He throws me a free sample of a 25mg Viagra or Sildenafil pill. It was the infamous blue pill and I finally got a hold of it. I asked for a script and he freely writes me one for 10 pills. My doctor scoffs at me and says, “You’re young, you don’t need this,” as he left the room. I ran to the pharmacy to get it fulfilled. Quite pricey at $10 a pill, but still I persisted.

Excitedly, I ran home. I took the whole pill and in thirty minutes, I felt pressure in my sinuses. Almost like they were clogged, but that’s what it does – it relaxes and opens up the arteries. The surge of blood runs straight to the penis upon minimal arousal. Even after release, the penis might even stay hard! Another side effect I noticed is sometimes your vision is affected. Sometimes there is a blue hue to your vision, sometimes yellow. It wasn’t alarming and it went away. Other times I felt a headache. With that script, I was able to also order online from random pharmacies. Some were $3 a pill and throughout the years, I have ordered from several different sources.

I continued to buy online and even when I was out of country, I was able to get my hands of generic brands. I would always tell them, I had a script and especially out of country, 1 out of 5 pharmacies would not even ask to see it. If they reject you, I would try another. They came in different dosages. 25mg, 50mg, and 100mg and I would often buy the 100mg. I would bite it a third or a fourth of a pill and save the rest for a rainy day.

One bad experience I had was when I worked a twelve hour shift and I went home to find a needy girlfriend. I took a whole 100mg, went to town for about an hour. After the action, I went to pee but of course my girlfriend already went first. I remember standing and noted that my vision, well to put it simply, I was seeing stars. I thought to myself, this was probably what low blood pressure feels like. As I went to go urinate, I passed out. Felt like a sleepy feeling, and the next thing I knew, I heard my girlfriend yelling my name from afar. I woke up naked with her shaking me on the floor of my bathroom. No more 100mg after that.

With that knowledge I pass on to you, I suggest you see a doctor and urge for a written prescription for the pill. It might be embarrassing, but you can probably push your doctor to prescribe you one. It is a very fun medication. In Australia, they subsidize the drug (source: www.pbs.gov.au/pbs/home). The cost to the government is between $54 to $82 per packet of four, depending on the drug brand. Expect to pay more if you buy online. Finally, don’t overdose. An erection lasting four hours might need a scalpel in the Emergency Room. I would not want anything sharp near my gear. Happy Trails!
